Thanks to everyone who was involved!

The Argonauts are proud to have played our part in bringing competitive rowing back to the Albert Park Lake after a considerable break.

This was the fourth year we co-hosted the Albert Park Lake Masters Regatta with our friends from the Albert Park South Melbourne Rowing Club (APSM) and The Y Rowing Centre

This regatta has developed a well-deserved reputation for its friendly, competitive rowing spirit, with record number of participants entering this year.

Thanks to all the competitors, officials and volunteers who made it such a successful day.

Further information go to the ROMS page.

Welcome

The Melbourne Argonauts is Australia’s first queer rowing club and one of only three independent queer rowing clubs in the world.

We aim to create a friendly inclusive environment for those who want to row socially or competitively. We are a club where people meet, connect and grow in a nurturing and positive environment. We value diversity, fun, openness, inclusiveness and an active lifestyle.

We are honoured that our patron is The Hon Michael Kirby AC CMG, former High Court judge and well-known human rights activist.
